Lost at E Minor

Lost At E Minor showcases the work of some very interesting artists. It is filled with inspirational pop-culture illustrations, photographs, music, design, products and more. We have been subscribers to their e-mail newsletter for a long time now and you can imagine our excitement when our very own Fly T-shirt showed up amongst their posts with some very good words attached! Kathryn shared this fact with me in a very excited manner at midday Australian time but we live in Greece which made it four o’clock in the morning!

Here’s a quote from them: “These t-shirts by Greek company Albino are colourinable, so kids can add their own little splashes of colour and then cruise the streets with their own artwork emblazoned proudly across their chests.” Some content in the following link might be rated M15+ for mature audiences so make sure you are over 15 before clicking: Read more at Lost At E Minor…

Lost At E Minor is one online publication I do not mind missing some sleep over. Thanks guys!

swissmiss’s kids’ gift guide

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

There are some design blogs we love to read everyday and swissmiss is one of our most favourite. She has her own design studio in NYC and she likes to cover design in a very diverse way. According to Home Rejuvination, her blog is one of the 10 most influential design blogs of 2008.

Well, she just wrote a post about our ALBINO shirts and put us in her kids’ gift guide, yeay! From all our publicity shots, she decided on the master of colour himself: the Chameleon. Nice choice.

Thank you swissmiss!

ALBINO review at “Sew Tessuti”

Monday, November 10th, 2008

Looks like some of our customers have blogs. This one, Colette, decided to share the ALBINO fun with her readers. We have put a few of her pictures up on our blog but you should head over to the Sew Tessuti blog to read the full post and see some extra pictures.

The two T-shirts unboxed and their markers before colouring in.

Butterfly fully coloured-in

The owl butterfly partially coloured in. Notice the instruction booklet to the side. You can see the completed practice sheets. Also notice how little she has to hold down the shirt thanks to our unique fabric stabilizing method.

Frog partially coloured-in. Sinister frog fully coloured-in.

And our sinister frog is looking positively green!

The girls did a great job colouring-in the shirts. We hope their little cousins will like them.

Thanks Colette! Fantastic pictures, great post!

Apart from her great blog, Sew Tessuti, Colette and her husband Greg also own Tessuti fabrics. Tessuti sells designer fabrics collected from all over the world … and beautiful they are. They have several stores in Sydney but if you can’t get to one then visit their online shop.

We have been printed!

Exciting stuff people! Style magazine from Australia has briefly mentioned our product in their “Baby style” section. We really love this because this magazine goes out to women and mothers in country NSW. From the horse’s mouth:

“Indulge your child’s inner fashion designer with these super cute Albino colourinable t-shirts. A rewarding and creative project, the t-shirts come in a variety of designs and you can purchase different coloured markers to create the ultimate fashion statement! www.myalbino .com”

Thanks Jacqui!
